Hasta la Vista, Baby!

The apocalyptic, jilted rhythms of Brad Fiedel's soundtrack to the 1984 movie The Terminator summon a cold and sinister sense of mechanical dread. In the battle to save the human race from annihilation, electronic themes morph into dark strings, raspy brass and bittersweet piano strains, while doomful percussion and sombre melodies tear into the emotional space.
