Early songs such as the smouldering, distortion-speckled “Return Trip” and the bluesy, psychedelic “Electric Wizard” meander as if lost in a smoky haze, while later epics like “...A Chosen Few” and “Satanic Rites of Drugula” showcase the band’s hypnotic classic-rock skills. Tracks like “See You In Hell” even sound like a ‘70s heavy-metal LP being played in slow motion.
