About Tristan Raës

Pianist Tristan Raës is a versatile figure who has played as a soloist and in chamber music. He is best known for his work with tenor Cyrille Dubois, with whom he has made several recordings for the Aparte label. In 2004, he made his recording debut with an album of the complete music for two pianos of Poulenc with his father, Alain Raës. Following that, Tristan returned to school to study instrumental and vocal accompaniment, earning prize designations in both fields. Most of these were for appearances with Dubois. The pair recorded Les clairières dans le ciel in 2015. Then, signed to Aparte, they released Liszt: O Lieb! in 2019, following that up with Lili et Nadia Boulanger: Mélodies in 2020 and Fauré: Complete Songs in 2022.
