About Siggno

Formed in Texas in 2000, Siggno—sometimes known as Grupo Siggno—is an award-winning Regional Mexican band best known for Tejano and norteño music. ∙ Their second LP, 2002’s Por Amor, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Tejano Album. ∙ In 2003, Siggno was nominated Most Promising Band of the Year at the Tejano Music Awards. ∙ They celebrated their eighth anniversary by winning the 2008 Latin Grammy Award for Best Norteño Album, for Six Pack. ∙ Not only did Yo Te Esperare debut atop Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart in 2016, but it was also their first LP to reach No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart. ∙ The group set an all-time concert attendance record—more than 75,000—at 2017’s RodeoHouston, the world’s largest livestock exhibit and rodeo. ∙ Thanks in part to the hits “Yo Te Amo” and “#Hashtag,” 2020’s Pelicula, Vol. 1 topped the iTunes Regional Mexican Albums chart almost immediately upon release.
