About pronouncedyea

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My big musical awakening happened in 9th grade, watching a snowboard movie. For the first time, I heard a soundtrack that mixed every genre I loved from dubstep to punk to folk and more. Hearing it all at once made me realize how beautiful it all was What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, For Emma, Forever Ago Flume, Skin Lana Del Rey, Born to Die Each of these albums captures human emotions to a level that I strive for in my own music. Born To Die was the first album I ever purchased, Skin redefined what music could be for me, For Emma, Forever Ago hit my heart in a way I never felt before. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “2:38 A.M.” This song will always be special to me as it perfectly captured a moment I found myself in often. I've found myself writing late at night when I couldn't sleep or the thoughts were too loud. One night I finally managed to capture them at 2:38 A.M. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I ever sold a song. I've struggled a lot with my confidence and I remember being scared of putting out my music. A kind stranger reached out and said "keep going" and that really hit me. Knowing someone believed in me keeps me going. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much, but I hope one day to produce for another artist and help bring their vision to life. As much as I like telling my own story, it's my dream to be a part of another artist bringing their story and vision to life.
