In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a child my parents always sang one or two, sometimes even three songs for me by the bedside to lull me into sleep. They sang in tune, and this is one of my earliest and most fond musical memories. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Laurent Martin, Alkan: Preludes, Op. 31 Marc-André Hamelin, Godowsky: The Complete Studies on Chopin's Etudes Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Pierre-Laurent Aimard - Carnegie Hall Recital I'm a great admirer of both Aimard and Hamelin; their personality and musicianship continues to inspire me. Neglected music has for many years been a focus point for me, and the music of Alkan and Godowsky, which I've played, represents this. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The album release of Olivier Messiaen's "Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant-Jésus" on the composer's birthday 10 December 2023. It's music that has been very close to my heart for many years.
