About MAX
MAX is a multi-talented actor-turned-singer whose pop-soul stylings have landed him repeatedly on the charts. ∙ After getting his acting start on Broadway, he later appeared in a high-end fashion campaign with Madonna and starred in numerous TV shows, including the teen sitcom How to Rock. ∙ MAX’s debut EP, First Encounters, came in 2010, but he broke through with the 2016 album Hell’s Kitchen Angel, which featured guest turns from rappers Lil Uzi Vert and Hoodie Allen. ∙ In 2015, he was the lead singer of Witchita, a short-lived soul band formed by veteran punk rocker Tim Armstrong of Rancid and Transplants. ∙ “Lights Down Low,” a track off Hell’s Kitchen Angel, went double Platinum and reached No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. ∙ His 2019 hit single “Love Me Less,” a collaboration with singer-songwriter Quinn XCII, has been certified Platinum. ∙ For the 2020 album Colour Vision, he enlisted as guests pop singer Hayley Kiyoko, synth-funk duo Chromeo, and SUGA of the superstar Korean boy band BTS.
