In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up, I used to wake up on Sunday mornings to the sound of classical music playing from my grandfather's record player. He was a Ukrainian immigrant, and he had a deep appreciation for the masters like Shostakovich, Prokofiev and Stravinsky.
