About Dyango

Dyango is a best-selling Spanish singer, songwriter, and record producer. His repertoire includes boleros, tangos, rancheras, and dozens of covers and originals filtered through an elegant, dynamic pop sensibility. In 1975, Alma, Corazón y Vida established him as a household name, and 1984's … Al Fin Solos! and 1986's A Corazon Abierto went multi-platinum. He reached number five on the U.S. charts in 1987 with La Hora del Adios. In 1989, the steamy ballads collection Suspiros marked the beginning of Dyango's mature work. The 1990s delivered three internationally charting entries in Alta Marea (1992), Morir de Amor (1993), and Rey de Corazones (1994). He showcased his love of the Catalan language on 1997's Quan L'Amor És Tan Gran. 2010's Puñaladas en el Alma, with the Prague Symphony Orchestra, received a Latin Grammy nod in 2010. Dyango retired after issuing the 2017 album Y Ahora Qué and a Spanish tour.
