Seattle-based artist Dave B writes, produces, raps, and sings in his music, giving him a great deal of creative control. Growing up as the son of a preacher, Dave B was singing in the gospel choir at a young age. His early interest in music gave him broad tastes, and he gravitated toward hip-hop, R&B, and jazz. By the time of his debut EP, 2015's Punch Drunk, he had been noticed as a local talent, receiving acclaim from media outlets and winning first prize in MoPOP's Sound Off singing competition. His debut album, Tomorrow, landed in 2016 cementing his status as a multi-talented artist, leading to sold-out shows along the West Coast. He continued honing his craft over numerous projects, including his sophomore album, Bleu, in 2019, and his 2020 mini album, Delicate. ~ Liam Martin
