In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 22 studying music, and my percussion teacher told me that a well known singer-songwriter needed a girl who plays percussion and can do background vocals. I took the chance and this led to the start of my career as a singer. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Madonna, True Blue Michael Jackson, Thriller The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) These albums marked me as a teenager. 90s pop, together with a variety of local (Greek) sounds, shaped my musical taste. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mesopelaga” It's about finding ultimate love at a time in your life when you least expect it. I composed this alone on the guitar, and Nikos Moraitis managed to capture exactly what I felt and put it in words. Orchestrator Akis Katsoupakis shaped it beautifully. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In July 2018 i was invited by the international supergroup Calexico to make a guest appearance in their "Live at Acropolis" concert. We performed their hit Ballad of Cable Hogue, but also the classic Greek retro song Ti 'ne afto pou to lene agapi. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many things i still would like to do, many collaborations and experiments i think of. I'd like to make an electronic album, and also a best of me with collaborations and new arrangements.
