Regularly operating in the warmer, deeper and more inventive quarters of house, Freerange Records has been one of the UK’s most trailblazing labels since its foundation in 1996. With this mix, DJ, producer and Freerange team member Matt Masters explores a quarter of a century of music from the label. “It was great going through our back catalogue and picking out some of my old favourites,” he tells Apple Music, “and also finding some hidden gems I had not heard in a long time that always sound as fresh as the first day I heard them. We have signed some amazing artists over the years, so it’s hard to include them all in an hour mix. I also added a few that I have released on the label over the years too. Hope you enjoy.”
