Swiss musician Bligg—real name Marco Bliggensdorfer—is a rapper with a difference. The Zurich-based artist, who released his solo debut in 2001, possesses an exquisite flow and domineering voice, but refuses to follow traditional hip-hop tropes. Instead, experimentation and playfulness are his calling cards as he brings warmth and humour to his unique style. "Börn Baby" encapsulates it all, opening with gliding strings before accelerating into upbeat dance-pop, as Bligg incorporates a chorus from Bloodhound Gang's "The Bad Touch".
