Born into a family of doctors and chemists, Veronique Gens was gifted with a voice that transcends the ages. Since beginning her studies at a teenager with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, Gens has let her voice guide her artistic choices. After mastering Baroque music and moving through the great French Romantic composers, Gens found her calling as an interpreter of Mozart, and has since brought several of his most renowned operatic heroines to life.
