Established in 1968, legendary label Trojan Records was instrumental in bringing the sounds of Jamaican music to this country and beyond. Licensing tracks from some of Jamaica's biggest producers, Trojan brought reggae stars like Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Jimmy Cliff, Junior Byles and Max Romeo to an increasingly devoted international audience via their classic Tighten Up series of compilations.
