Best known to classic rock fans as the only person to sing with Led Zeppelin—she guested on "The Battle of Evermore"—folk-rock singer/songwriter Sandy Denny was so much more than that. Known as "The Lady", Denny was beloved for her incredible work with English folk-rock legends, Fairport Convention and Fotheringay, as well as her '70s solo recordings. As dark and moody as her contemporary Nick Drake, her work was more electric, utilising a full band to complement her emotive voice. Denny sadly passed away in 1978 following an accident in her parents' home.
