Robert Cray has always pushed the boundaries of blues, incorporating soul and rock influences into his simmering sound, but he can just as easily kick it old-school. He trades licks with Albert Collins and Johnny Copeland on T-Bone Walker's classic "T-Bone Shuffle", and his live version of the traditional "Sitting On Top of the World" illustrates how Cray can tear into a slow standard with smouldering sensuality.
