Ouri: The Producers

Ouri (aka Ourielle Auvé) grew up in France, and began studying music at the age of five. But when she was 16, she moved to Montreal and delved deep into its electronic and dance scenes (with the wind of piano, harp, and cello studies at her back). Since then, she’s become an in-demand producer and remixer, adept at blending the electronic and the acoustic for a sound that’s warm, earthy and delicate—but can bang when it wants to. Her debut album, Frame of a Fauna, was shortlisted for the 2022 Polaris Music Prize—a sure sign of big things to come.
