A long-time fixture on the classical-pop scene, Massimo Ranieri has been in the spotlight for most of his life. A wedding singer by the age of 10, his first recordings followed at 13 and launched a career that would take in music, acting and TV presenting as well as representing Italy at Eurovision 1971 and triumphing at Sanremo in 1988.
