Lucy Peach is a singer and self-professed “period preacher” who is advocating for more openness and pride around the subject of menstruation. This is one of four playlists she made for Apple Music—one for each phase of the cycle. Here’s what she has to say about this one: “Once you ovulate, your Give Phase begins. With another wave of oestrogen and a huge peak in progesterone, ovulation is the summit of the cycle. You’ve just laid an egg and you are all about it. Up there with the wind in your hair and your sails, this is an abundant time.
