With a Latin fusion sound similar to that of fellow Los Angelinos Ozomatli and Quetzal, La Santa Cecilia are known for their heartfelt songs that coalesce around the emotive voice of singer La Marisoul. Highlighted by solid percussion, romping bass, and the incendiary accordions of Mexican regional music, their debut full-length, 2011's Noche y Citas, established their distinct ability to incorporate diverse musical elements into a bilingual, multicultural vision. They've since continued to refine their brew of ranchera, cumbia, bossa, bolero, reggae, and beyond.
