Toronto's Keys N Krates started as a live hip-hop trio in 2008 before slowly moving into rave. Their years of experience (and the influence of producers like Timbaland and Just Blaze) show in their exquisitely crafted club bangers, which lend trap EDM a host of new ideas and emotions. Tracks like "Ratchet Hoe$" and "Yes We Faded" bring the machine-gun snare rolls, wild synth squalls and rap attitude, but the guys aren't afraid to experiment with pretty female vocals and lush pads ("I Know U") or drum 'n' bass ("U Already Know")—as long as it amps up the vibe.
