Various bands, guest spots and solo reinventions display Joe Walsh's ample gifts for arch vocals and distinctively wild guitar playing. His '60s/'70s group James Gang trips out on psych blues with “Take A Look Around”, while he drenches Kenny Chesney's “Wild Ride” in wah-wah and squawking talk-box guitar. And as a solo artist, Walsh takes acoustic rags (“All Night Laundry Mat Blues”) and power ballads (“You Might Need Somebody”) in stride.
