Ivri Lider began his career writing music for dance groups, but he wanted more. His first single, "Leonardo", proved he had a distinct voice in pop music—one that was warm and personal. But Lider was aiming higher than the mainstream pop scene. He began to experiment with electronic music, always looking for new sounds while remaining accessible. In 2011, he formed the electronic duo TYP (or The Young Professionals, with Jonathan Goldstein) and found success in Europe. A major gay icon in Israel and beyond, he continues his solo career while writing film music and judging in reality shows.
