Brits Hot Chip have a charmingly geeky art-school aesthetic that belies their über-cool influences. You'd expect their floor-filling indietronica to be influenced by New Order, Basement Jaxx and Pet Shop Boys, as represented here. But they're equally shaped by an impressive range of maverick sounds: Chic's disco, Frankie Knuckles' house music, Timbaland's R&B and Brian Eno's experimental glam.
