When Tennessee’s All Sons & Daughters called it quits in 2018 after nine productive years, contemporary praise and worship lost one of its most distinctive voices. Luckily for fans, co-founder David Leonard quickly launched a solo career. On his 2019 debut, The Wait, and its 2023 follow-up, Plans, the singer-songwriter wraps All Sons & Daughters’ unvarnished faith in a big, cinematic sound evoking images of classic American landscapes. If that weren’t enough, Leonard has also dialled up his songwriting output, collaborating with the likes of Katy Nichole, Benjamin William Hastings and Gable Price.
