Da Beatfreakz: The Producers

South London brothers Obi and Uche Ebele began making beats in a makeshift bedroom studio in the early 2000s, honing what would become their signature sound: heavy and relentless percussion, paired with ominous keys and atmospheric strings. They’ve laid out that blueprint all over the grime scene, producing club hits like “Swingin In Da Whip (feat. Giggs)” and Swarmz’s “Bally”. Their style has branched out globally as well, through the Carribean drums of Sean Paul and Ellie Goulding’s “Bad Love” and the trap beats of Jacquees’ R&B anthem “All My Life”.
