Culture Club Essentials

Culture Club Essentials

With their blend of new wave synths, mellow reggae beats and old-school soul vocals, no one sounded like Culture Club. And certainly, no one looked like their fearless, frank and often very funny frontman Boy George. Formed in the same early '80s London club-kid scene that spawned Visage and Spandau Ballet, Culture Club courted notoriety with George's cheeky persona, but the pure-pop musical charms of albums like Kissing To Be Clever and Colour By Numbers appealed to just about everyone.
