As a storyteller and a founding member of the acclaimed kasi soul group The Soil, singer-songwriter Buhlebendalo finds inspiration in women wherever she goes. “Every woman has a story to tell,” she tells Apple Music. “An ordinary street vendor inspires me. A CEO of a Black-female-owned business inspires me. My manager's work ethic continues to inspire me. How my own mother continues to raise our children inspires me.
