blink-182: Next Steps

Blink-182 became stars thanks to their clever, mischievous take on pop-punk, yet that's only part of their story. Recorded early in their career, 1992's “Carousel” is indicative of the buzzing skate-punk on which the SoCal kids cut their teeth. Later on, “Stockholm Syndrome” is a searing slab of post-hardcore, showing how the band beefed up their angst after 1999's Enema of the State.
