Spike Lee has spent more than three decades examining race relations in America, so it makes sense that his films are filled with music that does much of the same. With a list of conscious hip-hop thinkers like Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash and Gang Starr and legends like Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, every Spike Lee film is almost as memorable for its message as its music.
