Armed with a ferocious live show and throwback riffs, it would've been easy for Band of Skulls to rest in the territory pioneered by post-punk revival bands like The White Stripes. However, it soon became clear that this band aspired to carve its own path. Combining anthemic hooks and driving beats with hard rock and the blues, Band of Skulls' crossover appeal has seen their work featured on video games and in movies. Having made fans in tourmates like Queens of the Stone Age, BOS evolved yet again in 2014 with Himalayan, showing sides of glam-rock with a new focus on vocal harmonies.
