Uni Boys imbue their note-perfect power pop with a punky, glammy sound that incorporates the guitar sound of the New York Dolls' Johnny Thunders, Big Star's sweet vocal harmonies, and Milk 'N' Cookies' teenage swagger. The band spent years honing their craft, recording demos, and soaking up influences from punk to deep psychedelia before releasing 2022's energetic Do It All Next Week. Like that album, 2023's Buy This Now! captured the point where punk attitude and pop melodies meet.
