Björk, Björk's Greatest Hits Joan Armatrading, Joan Armatrading Remastered Tom Waits, Anthology of Tom Waits Joan Armatrading, Ani DiFranco and Joni Mitchell were my inspirations to pick up string instruments. Björk showed me that songwriting can be both emotional and experiemental. Tom Waits' music showed me that there can be beauty in the grotesque.
