About Tower Recordings
Matt Valentine and P.G. Six formed the edgy and ever-changing psych-folk collective Tower Recordings in the early 1990s. The duo began as a bedroom project, initially purveying a brand of lo-fi indie rock, as displayed on 1994’s REHEARSALS FOR ROSELAND. On the follow-up, they veered towards moody psychedelia inspired by traditional English Pagan folk. Their ’01 entry featured improvisational percussionist Tim Barnes and experimental folk vocalist Samara Lubelski. This flexibility and ease in shape-shifting kept their loyal fans intrigued until about '06, when Valentine began to focus more on his duo with Erika Elder, MV & EE.
