In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder single endlessly when I was about 5 years old. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Björk, Debut Bob Marley & The Wailers, Survival (2013 Remaster) Bonus Track Version Deee-Lite, World Clique I love these albums with songs that transport you to deep inside the artists head and and hear. The lush production values and delicious musical embellishments still sound fresh many years later. I can listen to them all on repeat. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dark Horse” I like the way this one develops from a bubbling throb into a break down chaotic crescendo. It takes a while for it to get to the funk, but it sounds phat. It was just me experimenting with some new equipment at the time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? At a festival in France, the first act never showed so my bro played bass borrowed from The Egg and I got on the drums and we just freestyled it completely. The few thousand people in front of the stage were loving it almost as much as we were. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to do a full stage show where I program the music lights and video and have it all controlled by me live.... mwa ha ha ha
