In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Guilty pleasure alert, BUT... My 1st concert was when I was 7/8 years old and my mum took me to see STEPS, at Wembley arena, and I was on my seat doing the dance routines, I had my favourite GAP hoody on, and I was very gay and proud in that moment. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Frank Billie Holiday, The Essential Billie Holiday SBTRKT, SBTRKT I love the way Amy took all the music I loved and brought it to the 21st century, with frank songwriting breaking the conventional ideas of what a female pop star should be. Tell us why you chose this song. “Roll with It” This songs is special to me for the people involved, some amazingly talented people I've had the experience of working with. My 1st track out with dear friend and producer Maverick Quest all recorded through an analogue desk formerly used by Prince. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing on the mainstages of Pride in London and Birmingham, to my community was pretty special. I'd also say the Colors video I did when I was just starting out was fun too. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? LOTS, where do we start. Album, World Tour, Glastonbury and beyond...We just getting started.
