In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have always been obsessed with piano music, something which started from about the age of 8 or 9 I think. I used to get up at about 6am, unbeknownst to my parents who were still asleep, and play my clavinova in our freezing cold conservatory! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? András Schiff, Mozart: The Piano Sonatas Eric Parkin, The Billy Mayerl Piano Transcriptions, Vol. 3 Marc-André Hamelin, Fauré: Nocturnes & Barcarolles It's almost impossible to choose just 3 albums, and my favourites constantly change, however, I'm really into Billy Mayerl at the moment, as well as wanting to really get to know all the Mozart sonatas and explore more of Fauré's piano music too.
