Based out of Geneva, Switzerland, This Misery Garden employs a heady mix of dark, progressive heavy metal/hard rock and doomy post-grunge that brings to mind groups like Katatonia, A Perfect Circle, Sevendust, and black album-era Metallica. Formed in 2005, the band released their debut full-length outing, Another Great Day on Earth, in 2009 via Galileo Records. A sophomore effort, the Season of Mist-issued Cornerstone, followed in 2013, and in 2017, the group returned to Galileo for Hyperstitious. ~ James Christopher Monger
