The Earth Orchestra, sometimes referred to as THEEO, is an international orchestral project aimed at uniting the world through music performed by a representative musician from every country. Created in 2018, the project recruited English composer George Fenton, best known for his works for film (Gandhi, The Fisher King) and television (Blue Planet, Planet Earth), to write the orchestra's first piece. The resulting "Together Is Beautiful" was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with musicians from 58 different countries; additional parts from artists around the world were recorded remotely.
