In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We had a beautiful piano in our living room. I can vividly remember trying to play while singing silly songs I made up on the spot. My many attempts and enthusiasm were the reason my parents decided to let me follow piano lessons at the age of six. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bahamas, Barchords Charles Aznavour, Encores John Mayer, Sob Rock Barchords and Sob Rock are my favorite albums when I’m on the road to a show. They remind me of cosy road trips and memorable holidays. Encore is the breathtaking and overwhelmingly touching last album of my all time favourite performer. I wrote it after my father told me he was going to sell the house that I grew up in. After its release I received wonderful messages from people who felt the same way about their childhood house. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first shows in France in the summer of 2023 were truly unforgettable. After many years of performing in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Australia it was extra special to sing my songs in front of an exclusively French audience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? An extensive tour through France is definitely at the top of my bucket list.
