Large in stature, with a commanding flow, Texas rapper Tedashii follows his faith to produce an invigorating brand of Christian rap.
• Tedashii came on the scene as part of the Southern hip-hop troupe 116. He continues to make music with the crew in addition to releasing solo albums, the first of which was 2006’s Kingdom People.
• Throughout the ’10s, he worked with fellow Christian artist Lecrae. The duo’s chemistry is evident on tracks such as 2011’s hypnotic “Dum Dum”.
• After losing his one-year-old son in a 2013 car crash, Tedashii channeled his heartache into his evocative 2014 album Below Paradise. The LP made the Top 20 of the Billboard 200.
• In 2019, the rapper returned with Never Fold, his first album in five years.
