Tab Hunter

About Tab Hunter

Blond-haired, blue-eyed pop icon Tab Hunter made his screen debut in the 1950 movie THE LAWLESS. Later in the decade he scored a Billboard pop number one with the lilting ballad "Young Love." The follow-up, "99 Ways," narrowly missed the Top 10. In 1958, he appeared in the film version of the Broadway show DAMN YANKEES, and maintained his film career into the 1980s, taking a memorable turn opposite drag queen superstar Divine in John Waters’s PLOYESTER.
