Stevie Ann is a critically acclaimed Dutch singer/songwriter with an acoustic folk-pop style. Born in 1986 in Roggel, she made her full-length album debut in 2005 with Away from Here. It became a hit, spawning the singles "Away from Here," "The Poetry Man," and "You Versus Me." (In addition to its commercial success, Away from Here was critically acclaimed, earning the 20-year-old singer/songwriter many awards.) Ann reunited with producers Arno Guveau and Tren van Enckevort for her second album, 2007's Closer to the Heart, a Top Ten hit. Third album Light Up (2010) found Ann working with veteran producer Mitchell Froom and also debuted inside the Top Five of the albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
