In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 9 years old, the music video for Ordinary People by John Legend came on and I stopped in my tracks to watch it. It was simple, just the black and white video of him playing piano and I was so inspired to learn how to play. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Frank Ari Lennox, Shea Butter Baby D'Angelo, Live At the Jazz Cafe, London Frank by Amy Winehouse because I love the ways she modernized jazz at the time. D'Angelo Live at the Jazz Cafe In London, I geek out over live arrangements, the instrumentation on this goes crazy. Shea Butter Baby by Ari Lennox, this is so relatable What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Lollapalooza in 2022 with Peter CottonTale is one of my favorite memories thus far.
