South London songwriter/rapper Snap Capone is a master collaborator who stands out thanks to his commanding voice and fiery verses. Capone, who began writing music as a teenager, eventually became a member of the sprawling Peckham crew S.I, also known as Shoot Instant. After building a reputation as a respected underground MC, Capone expanded his mainstream capabilities by working alongside the most compelling hip-hop artists in the UK. In 2013, Capone released his guest-filled debut project, The Memoir, which was driven by vivid storytelling in songs like “Ali Bombaya” featuring rappers Lil Zee and Ace. Snap Capone would continue weaving tales of street life beside his contemporaries throughout the 2010s on posse cuts such as Krept & Konan’s 2019 “I Spy (Remix)”. While Snap Capone meshes well with his peers, he also excels in a solo setting, as evidenced by the brooding, reflective 2021 single “I Can Tell You”.
