Anita Baker, The Best of Anita Baker Mariah Carey, The Emancipation of Mimi (Reissue) Reissue Michael Jackson, The Essential Michael Jackson These albums represent amazing voices, soul and are R&B blueprints. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Got It (2021 Remastered Version)” This song is special because it was the first time I had stepped out of my lane, to create a dance/club song that still had a story and a positive outlook. Produced by Kenwin Blades, my cousin. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After recording my promotional mixtape in 2014, I did a 3-city tour in the U.K and stepped on stages such as O2 Academy Birmingham and Islington, Venue 229, Surya and more. It was a interesting experience and I really enjoyed performing live. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course! I'm currently exploring creative opportunities with stuff like my skincare brand SKINSAINT while navigating what my next musical project will be. The new songs I've made have been a surprise to me as they are a step ahead.
