What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lou Reed, Between Thought and Expression: The Lou Reed Anthology The Rolling Stones, The Rolling Stones Singles Collection: The London Years The Stooges, The Stooges Albums by Lou Reed, The Stooges and The Rolling Stones are among those that definitely influenced my music when I started working as a professional musician at age 15. Tell us why you chose this song. “Heroin” Heroin, a cover of The Velvet Underground's song, written by Lou Reed. Many artists have covered Lou Reed songs (David Bowie, Keith Richards, Japan, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Duran Duran, etc..) but nobody recorded a cover of Heroin. I've done it my way What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? 1) To have opened for Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Pops Staples, Steve Marriott, Johnny Thunders, Alan Vega, etc.. 2) To have sung with Elvis' original band and The Yardbirds. 3) To having been Nico's boyfriend aged 19. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? 1) 3 of my albums - The Best-Kept Secret In Rock'n'Roll (2012), Love And Death (2014) and Flange (2022) - which are NOT "compilations", have been re-released in 2024. 2) To keep making songs that sound good and that listeners can relate to.
