Bruce Springsteen, Born to Run Deacon Blue, Raintown Eagles, Eagles Live Friend bought me Born to Run in 76 and it changed everything, way I played, way I sang, way I wrote, everything. I love songs that tell a story, love harmony, love guitar based rock and these three, in their own style, encompass those things. Tell us why you chose this song. “Firing Blind” So I wrote Firing Blind as a kinda tribute to the band I was in back in the 80's/90's, Shot in the Dark.
