In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I started music college I played piano in an "introductions" concert. The venue was a reformed church and still had a solemn feel about it. There was a lovely grand piano in the centre of the stage and I played "Opening" by Philip Glass. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Vivaldi: The Four Seasons / Nigel Kennedy - 25th Anniversary Edition [CD & DVD] Michael Riesman, Philip Glass, The Philip Glass Ensemble, Glassworks (Expanded Edition) Stereolab, Mars Audiac Quintet Glassworks was an eye opener to me, showing classical music in a new way. More direct, yet still complex & emotional. Nigel Kennedy's version of four seasons is the my favourite! Stereolab have lovely chords, textures & harmonies. Very beautiful! The music came to me as I was preparing to leave for a small away break to visit an old friend. The lyrics and melody came as I was making a demo for Ingrid. I just pressed record and then sung them!
